Much Better

Mr. Reed is much better today. They have drained off a ton of fluid. Between his drainage tube and his diapers, he had more than 11 ounces of fluid on him. That is a lot of fluid in a 9 pound baby! We are so thankful that he is back to his "new" self.
It is freezing in Nashville today. Braden and I bundled up to go see Reed this morning.
Don't you love his hair in this picture. The right side of his head was shaved two weeks ago for an IV line. That was his first unofficial haircut! Both of my boys fell asleep right before it was time for us to leave.

Thanks for praying and please keep doing that for us!

I'm so glad to hear Reed is doing better. I try to catch up every so often to see how you and your family are doing. I sent you an email last week about me and how I have been following and praying for you guys. You ALL are such an inspiration of God's love.
Blessings,
Laura Lake

Ryan and Keeley, your boys are so precious. We have been praying for them since Brian told us their situation. They are also on our prayer list at church (Ashland City Church of Christ). Hope Reed is home soon. God bless.

Ryan and Keeley - I just found your blog, and can't thank you enough for sharing your story. You don't know me, but my wife and I delivered twin boys about 5 weeks who are in the NICU at Baptist hospital. Just wanted you to know that we will be praying for you and keeping up with Reed's progress.

Gram says, we need to put some shoe polish on Braden's hair Ha! Ha! He has such bloonde hair you can't see it like Reeds. They are so BEAUTIFUL ok HANDSOME. Whatever there great... Everyone here in Pensacola and all the family elsewhere and churches are praying for you all as a family and extra for little Reed. Don't tell Ryan but everyone wants to see there pics when i show them I talk about little Reed and Braden to anyone who will listen so you got lots of people praying that are strangers. But the lord says the more prayers on the little children will be answered and thew more people that give it to God the better. I think...anyway What ever it takes for God to keep my grandbabies safe all of them I will fight for...PaPaT and Gram say we will see you soon in Gods prayers always..

Keeley,
I was just thinking that I do not know how you are doing this. And then I thought again and realized that yes, I do. The only way could be through strength from the Father and my prayer is that He sustains you and protects you and fills you to overflowing every day. Your story is an inspiration and testimony to all who hear it. You have already touched the lives of people around here who don't know you. Thanks so much for sharing. Don't ever forget that we are praying for you all through this process. Thanks for your positive attitude and outlook. You encourage me daily. May God's hand be on Reed and your whole family all day every day.
