Good Weekend

Reed had a great weekend even though this picture does not show that! Doesn't he look pitiful in this picture? Friday, Aunt Tina and NICU nurse, Christy, came to visit Reed and Braden.
Here is Braden looking up at Christy wondering what in the world she is talking about! We went from a roller coaster week last week to a much smoother ride this weekend. They started his feeding back Saturday and increased his feedings every two hours. He did great with this on Saturday and Sunday with no spit up! Braden just played in his bouncy sit at the hospital. Reed even played in this for a while too and loved it! We watched a little bit of basketball on Satuday too with the boys. Braden sported his UK hat while watching the Kansas game...we have to compromise! The look on Reed's face is priceless. He's thinking "what is brother doing in my bed?" Reed was taking in the tradition of a Sunday afternoon nap!
Monday was a little harder for Reed. He was real upset most of the morning. They are pretty sure that it is due to a mix of medicines and the feedings. His echo and EKG looked great again today!!! We tried the swing for part of the day and he seemed to like it. My sweet little boy!!

gram says not to be a busy body but both ryan and sean liked on the go ,wheater it be the swing or the stroller or walking or car. so maybe they like it too. I don't remember when Ryan ever stopped on the go and having fun unless he was asleep so maybe they are taking after daddy. After all their already smart like mommy. And looks OH MY!!! They take after both of you. I can already hear the crying and broken hearts 15 years down the line. those poor poor girls that will be chasing my grandsons look out world. I;m glad they are feeling better and hope Reed gets to see home soon. In God;s time not ours. I have a hard time with that one. But he is keeping all safe so thats good. But its really has been just a short while since he got his actual heart replaced. It just seems longer. And evry one at Vanderbilt has been just WONDERFUL to all of you. They all are in our prayers and of course the babies and you all.. And your family Keeley. See you soon.. In Gs word..

I was so glad to be able to come see Reed this weekend. He was so sweet to hold, and he looked really great to me. I also loved getting to spend some time holding Braden and visiting with you and Ryan.

Ryan, Keeley, Braden and Reed, We are so thankful to God for answering our many prayers and that you are now home as a family of four. It sounds as if all is going as to be expected. You all will continue to be in our prayers and especially Reed for continued good progress and his overall health. Thank you so very much for the posts on your blog to keep us all informed and for all the adorable pictures which give us a lttle insight into the family happenings. God bless each of you. Love, Randy and Carolyn Wright
