Week 8

I know that a lot of people check this blog regularly and some more than one time a day so I figure the more pictures the better!! I absolutely love when people tell me that they check this all the time. Ryan and I are so thankful for all of you that are praying for us during this time.
We continue to wait for Reed's heart and are so VERYgrateful that he is still healthy and growing strong. Our constant prayer is that Reed's heart will come soon and that he will remain healthy while he waits!!
Our boys are getting so big and so long. It is amazing how much they have grown since they were 5 pounds at birth.
These boys already having daddy wrapped around their fingers. I can already tell that I am going to be the rule enforcer and dad will be the fun one:-)However, there was a big first yesterday with Reed.....Reed SMILED at me!!!!! I was so glad that there were 4 other people in the room when I was talking to Reed to witness that he smiled at me. He not only smiled once but several times. When I called Ryan, he could not believe that I got him to smile before he did! (You cannot tell in the pics below because it was too hard to snap the picture when he smiled)Here is one of Reed's new things that he likes to look at. Who knew that black and white could be so stimulating! Braden has really starting to show his little personality here in the last week too. He loves to "talk" to you and smile, sometimes even in his sleep.
Reed's Thoughts:
1) Are those nurses coming in here to mess with me again?!? 2) Ummm, that sugar water they just gave me was great.
3) That sugar water did not keep me from hurting when the nurse pulled off a bandage from my arm!
Mom's favorite pictures from yesterday of Reed and Braden:

When our kiddos were babies someone told us that when a sleeping baby smiles it means the angels are kissing him!

We keep praying and are so happy for your first smiles!

Precious pictures of those sweet boys. Sorry to hear you'll have to be the enforcer - it has to be more fun to be the "fun" parent (not that I would know - although neither parent is too fun to teenagers). Thanks for keeping us updated. We're praying ...

Keeley, This is the first time I have been on your page, and it is precious. You are truly and inspiration and such a powerful example of faith, and Ryan as well. The boys are beautiful!! I do just have to tell you that you might have to eat those words about be the disciplinarian, especially if Reed smiled at you first. Boys have such a special place in their momma's heart. I love my girls and they are and will always remain special - because you love all of your children, just in different ways. But, I am totally in love with Will. He can just about get away with anything with his momma! So just beware. Those boys will learn fast how to get ya!! All of our love to your family. We are constantly praying for you. I will be checking your site more often and looking for new pictures!!
Love,
Stacey Beyer
