Here is one of the cardiologists checking out Reed's heart. He gets checked every morning by the NICU doctor and a cardiologist. Reed is in his new favorite ride, his glider. We are going to have to get him one of these before he comes home because he will glide in this thing for 4 hours straight! I guess it is a nice change of scenery from his bed. He also loves the mobile above it! This is one of Braden's favorite new rides. He got this for Christmas from my parents and it plays music. It's just a little big for him right now! Our little Braden is growing. He had his 8 week check-up this week. He weighs 8 lbs 15 oz and is 21.5 inches long. He also got 3 shots that day. The docotr told me to wait and give Braden Children's Tylenol only if he got fussy. I should not have listened to the doctor b/c my friends told me to give him Tylenol before his appointment. Well, he woke up from his nap 2 hours later in a bloody murder scream. Tylenol is the best thing ever! Ryan's parents bought the boys their first rocking chairs. I know that they will love these when they get a little bigger.
Thanks to Ryan's parents for watching Braden while we went out with friends for New Year's Eve.
Reed is getting so long that they had to upgrade his bed. Doesn't he look so little in this bed. I think that he is enjoying his space. He may not like his crib when he gets home! He also moved across the hall to a room with windows....you know that you have been at VU too long when you start upgrading your room:-)
Braden loves that Reed has a new bed too because it is plenty of room for the two of them.
These two pictures are my favorites from this past week of Reed and Braden! Our prayer requests remain the same..pray for a healthy heart to come SOON, Reed's health to remain good with no infection while he waits, Ryan and I maintain a balance between everything, and thanking God for blessing us with two beautiful boys!!
