Good News and Prayers

Ryan & I had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday. WE are having TWO BOYS! We are very excited about that news.
However, we were informed that "Twin B" has a heart problem. The left side of his heart is not growing & operating like it should. He does have a good heart beat & is growing as expected, like his brother. But due to the type of heart problem, we are having to meet with Pediatric Cardiologists to discuss the problem & options going forward. At this time it looks like if all goes well with the rest of my pregnancy that he will need several heart surgeries after he is born. I think that he will need 3 surgeries done from infant to toddler. The Dr. said we have every reason to hope that this will be his only issue and with surgery he will be ok.
We ask that you pray for both babies & me during the next several months. I also ask that you join us in praying that our sons heart can be healed or that his heart does not get any worse and continues to be the size that it is. The power of prayer is amazing and we believe that God will guide us throug this.
We thank you in advance for your love & prayers. God is good.
Feel free to spread the news to people who will join us in prayer.
Faith in Him-
Keeley & Ryan

Hey Keeley! I have been wondering what you would have, and I am so excited that it is 2 boys! We were so set on a boy and a girl that I was a little "let down" at first. I must say, I cannot imagine life any other way now than with my two precious boys. They are so sweet and make each day like waking up on Christmas! I will be praying for you and those 2 miracles. God has already answered prayers by blessing you twice, and He will again and again. Please let me know if you ever have any questions or need anything! (I know I appreciated help from others who had been in my shoes!)

Congratulations on your TWO boys! So exciting! We'll definitely be praying for your son's heart to be strong. Isn't modern technology amazing?? I know it's scary to think of your baby boy having to endure multiple surgeries, but what a blessing that doctors will be able to fix his condition if necessary! There is nothing in the world like a son... except maybe TWO! So excited for you.

Hi Keeley, my name is Lori...I am an old friend of Ryan's from Pensacola. I got his email about your two boys...first, congratulations! I am very happy for you two. I will certainly be praying for both babies, you, doctors, and little Reed's heart. May God give both you and Ryan peace and trust throughout this experience and may He grant the doctors wisdom.

By the way, I love all of the little signs that you paint with children's names on them....super cute and chic.

You guys take care and maybe we will meet one day.

Keeley,
I know everyone has said this, but boys really are the most wonderful thing!!! You will love having 2! What a blessing that Twin A is healthy and that Twin B has a good heartbeat and is growing like he should. We will definitely be praying for COMPLETE healing! My specific prayer is that God will choose to heal his heart so that when you get another ultrasound everything looks perfect, just like his brother's. It is absolutely amazing to me that God is capable of that and it gives me comfort knowing that He is in control.

Romans 9:20-21
"But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?' Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?

I am sure that Twin B is being made for a noble purpose - hopefully as an opportunity for us to praise God for the healing that will come! And obviously, Twin A is too, as we can and should praise God that he is healthy!

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurbly more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Phil. 4: 5b-7
The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Two of my favorites:
Jeremiah 33:3
Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.

Isaish 43:1-3
But now, this is what the Lord says - 'Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.'

Read Psalms 145. It is wonderful.

Oh, Keeley, there are so many more I want to share with you, but there isn't enough space. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you, Kelly

Keeley & Ryan, first of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your pregnancy!! I was in Pensacola last month and several people at Gateway asked me if I had heard the news. SO happy for you two. I'll definitely be praying for your son's heart and for you and Ryan at this time. God is the ultimate healer. I can't help but think of the ways He worked in little Max's life. I'll be sure to spread the word for more prayers.
